About the film

This hilarious comedy bringing together the famous Unknowns (Didier Bourdon, Bernard Campan and Pascal Légitimus) was released in 1995; a huge success at the French box office with 6,897,098 admissions; and a film that has become completely cult.

This trio of comedians marked an entire era, they are also cult, almost as much as their sketches. In any case, they helped plant the seed of humor in the heart of Le Groin.

A Groin of Culture

Don't you have 100 potatoes?
In the land of potatoes, Bonnotte is the most popular. Only 100 tonnes of this Noirmoutier variety are produced per year. The first harvests of the tuber are often sold at auction; in 1996 an individual bought a package of 5 kilos for 15,000 euros. Name of a little Pig!

The five strangers?
Did you know that the famous trio was at the beginning of their formation five comedians?
Indeed, the comedians Smain and Seymour Brussel were also part of the small troupe. They met at the Théâtre de Bouvard, the equivalent of the Jamel Comedy Club at the time.
